Don't try to hear the affirmations.I did, but was unable to hear any voices underlying the beautiful music. Ms. I have read many of Louise Hay's books and certainly she has been at the forefront of educating people on how to use The Secret and intentional thinking to cultivate positive attracting of success in all phases of one's life.I must admit that although I was familiar with visual subliminal messages I was skepital of auditory subliminal being able to affect and produce changes in our behavior. However, I am pleased that I have found that many of the issues that I have had in areas of self-esteem and/or setting personal boundaries are changing in positive action. Hay indicates in this CD that the first part of the CD is her voice speaking the positive affirmations and then the second part of the CD will be these same affirmations that will be unaudible under the wonderfully relaxing music and sounds of nature, e.g., birds, ocean, etc. She suggests that the listener use the CD at least once a day for thirty days. This positive behavior is showing itself in many of the challenges that I face with less fear and anxiety. I contribute a good part of this new and wonderful way of "thinking" comes from my being serious about wanting to change and taking the time to use this CD that was produced for the benefit of individuals that will take this positive energy into the universe.
This cd is helpful and I like the subliminal part too. I see a benefit in my life since Ive been using it.
All my life I've listened to my negative thoughts;it can only be good to reprogram the 'thought' process.I don't have "all power" though; I wish she hadn't said that.All power was given to Jesus, and He has given me theHoly Spirit, so I just remember that when I'm repeating it.
My self-critical thoughts have decreased between studying "You Can Heal Your Life" and listening to this on audio-tape. However, one day after listening to self-esteem affirmations for several nights, I found my negative pattern of thought interrupted by one of the songs of this tape as I was vacuuming in my living room without ear buds.I soon realized where my thoughts were headed before I started silently humming the song to myself.
I love Louise's voice and her patient speech. I ordered this one-hour set from iTunes ($3.95) and it was a $4 well-spent.
I love to run the vacuum and I think as I do it, but probably too often my thoughts turn negative or critical. The music is a bit trying (elevator music--especially the first song)., but I am peaceful about it because I know it offers me warm and subliminal messages.I listen to the entire thing as I am falling asleep.
The first time I realized that it was calming my temper happened as I was running my vacuum. I continued to listen to this, as recommended, for at least 30 days.
I am grateful for her teachings on a daily basis.
I say buy it, and try it. I feel alot calmer now and my hair trigger temper has been calmed significantly.
I read that gave it to my daughter to read. I saw this CD and bought it because of the subliminal side.
I am new to Louise Hay starting with her You Can Heal Your Life Book. It's actually very sweet.
I listen to it work and again when I go to sleep. My 10 year old son listens to it with me and now can't wait to go to sleep so he can play this CD.
I can see a change in my son's behavior as well and I truly am thankful for that. I'm so glad I did.
